In this study, God’s greatness in Isaiah 40:12-21 is displayed, showing that the entire universe is small and effortless for Him to measure, sustain, and rule. Yet this same infinite God depends on no one and possesses perfect wisdom, making Him the only reliable guide for our lives. Isaiah contrasts God’s majesty with the emptiness of idols, reminding Israel that creation itself continually proclaims His power and leaves humanity without excuse. Astonishingly, this majestic Creator is revealed to be Christ, Who came in humility and died for sinners—showing through the Cross the depth of His care.
