Steady, Christian faithfulness can accomplish far more than expected. As we are instructed in this continuing episode on Titus 3, believers, saved by God’s grace, should devote themselves to good works to make Christ’s love visible to the world. The Apostle Paul also warns Titus to avoid foolish controversies and to deal firmly with divisive people so the church can remain healthy and fruitful. The letter closes by urging believers to keep their focus on the Lord even when others falter, and walk in the grace that frames Paul’s entire message for the Church, the Body of Christ.
