A faithful testimony of a transformed life by God’s grace can touch the hearts and lives of others around us, so they, too, might experience salvation through the grace of God that changes lives. This teaching on Titus 2 shows that this grace trains us to deny ungodliness, live righteously in the present world, and look expectantly for Christ’s blessed return. Christ gave Himself to redeem and purify a people who belong to Him, and—because of this sanctifying, glorifying, and redeeming grace—Titus is commanded to teach, encourage, and correct with authority, so the church lives out the grace it proclaims.
