In this study, the Apostle Paul teaches that Christians are constantly being watched, so our conduct should make the gospel inviting, rather than give critics a reason to dismiss it. Titus is urged here to be a pattern of good works—a living model whose integrity, seriousness, and sincerity give weight to the grace message. Believers should use sound, wholesome speech and work with obedience, excellence, honesty, and reliability so that, even in the workplace, they adorn the doctrine of God. When Christians live this “good looking Christianity,” the world will take notice and be drawn to what we have in Christ.
