In this teaching, Christ’s birth is presented as the staggering reality that God Himself became man, the eternal Word taking on flesh to dwell among us and reveal God’s heart. John 1 shows that Jesus is fully God—eternal, Creator, and in perfect fellowship with the Father—Who entered the world so sinners could become God’s children. The incarnation displays God’s glory, grace, and truth, culminating in Christ’s sacrificial death and resurrection for our salvation. Because He truly came to this earth, we have endless hope, the fulfillment of God’s promises, and the invitation to belong to Him forever.
