This study focuses on Romans 15:13, which teaches that “the God of hope” is the source of the joy, peace, and overflowing hope believers need, but that we still must continually refill our spiritual tanks through His Word, prayer, fellowship, and the Spirit’s power. As we believe the truths of Scripture, the Holy Spirit fills us with joy and peace, anchoring our souls in the certainty of eternal life and God’s unchanging promises. When we live by faith, this hope overflows like a brimming bucket—spilling out into the lives of others as a natural testimony of God’s grace.
