The outcome of the fight between David and Goliath was certainly unexpected to all who were present that day. In this episode, we continue our walk through this well-known account and then see how it all points forward to the Seed of David, the Lord Jesus Christ. In the face of discouragement, David refuses to be deterred and declares that the Lord will deliver him from this uncircumcised Philistine who defies “the armies of the living God.” Ultimately, David miraculously triumphs over Goliath in a battle that pictures Christ facing off against the Devil at the Cross, where God delivers total victory over sin, death, and Satan.
