Sometimes we need a push in the Christian life, and God’s Word does that. It challenges us to live set-apart lives for Christ as a bright testimony for Him and His grace. In this lesson, the Apostle Paul instructs the Thessalonian believers to be sanctified wholly—in spirit, soul, and body—so to be preserved blameless until Christ’s return. We also learn here the difference between positional and practical sanctification. God faithfully completes this work in us as we press toward Christlikeness, ridding ourselves of sin while being conformed to His image until the Rapture.
