Christ’s Resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith, the foundation of our salvation, and the essence of our hope. It is because Christ went through the grave and out the other side that we shall do the same. This episode chronicles the early events on Resurrection Sunday morning, as the women arrived at the tomb to anoint Jesus’ body, before being visited by an angel who rolled away the stone and announced, “He is not here: for He is risen.” The Resurrection validates that Christ’s sacrifice for sin has been accepted and that the work of salvation is complete.
