Christ’s humility described in Philippians 2 becomes the model for how believers are to think and live. We are reminded in this message that though eternally God, Christ emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, becoming truly human, and descending all the way to death on the Cross for our salvation. Because of this perfect obedience, God highly exalted Him, giving Him the name above every name so, that one day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The Apostle Paul calls believers to “let this mind be in you,” embracing Christlike humility, selflessness, and service toward others.
