Many believers serve the church and work behind the scenes, often performing unappreciated tasks. But any and all service for Christ is essential and none of it goes unnoticed by Him. As the Apostle Paul closes his letter to the believers in Rome, he lists several people—Phoebe, Priscilla and Aquila, Mary, and many others—who worked tirelessly as servants, helpers, and fellow prisoners. These unsung co-laborers were essential to the life and work of the church in Rome. God honors all who serve selflessly with eternal recognition, and unites this diverse group as one Body, in Christ, proving no believer is unimportant.
