Others can see Christ in us by the way we walk and live. The Holy Spirit works in us to that end, and as we yield to Him and His Word, He produces the fruit of Christlikeness in our lives. In this teaching from Galatians 5:22-23, we see that the Holy Spirit produces a singular, unified fruit in believers who walk by faith and dependence on Him. The resulting divine qualities, which mirror Christ’s character, cannot be manufactured by self-effort, but instead grow as believers give way to the Spirit and meditate on God’s Word. Unlike the chaotic works of the flesh, “the fruit of the Spirit” brings harmony and transformation.
